Dr. Kanbar graduated from Tufts University in 1997 and has practiced for over 15 years. He continues his education annually and is a member of the American Dental Association® and the Massachusetts Dental Society. He also has advanced training in implant dentistry from Montefiore Hospital in New York. His goal as a dentist is to make his patients happy! Dr. Kanbar is married to Monia and has two children, Adam and Mila. Outside of work, he loves soccer and traveling to different countries. Dr. Bowen took ownership of Canyon Dental in 2015 and remains committed to enhancing his dental expertise and acquiring new techniques, particularly in IV sedation, implants, and wisdom teeth extraction. He has received advanced oral surgery and implant training at Parkland Hospital in Dallas and Curitiba, Brazil.

Dr. Matos received her Bachelor of Science in Biological Studies with a special interest in deaf studies. She then graduated from the University of Connecticut School of Dental Medicine and completed a general practice residency at Hartford Hospital. She briefly practiced in the southern New Hampshire area before practicing here in the North Shore area. She frequently keeps updated with current dental practices and standards. She is a member of the New England Dental Society, the Massachusetts Dental Society, and the Academy of General Dentistry. Through education and awareness, she aims to empower her patients to take control of their oral health. Outside the office, Dr. Matos enjoys traveling, baking, and spending quality time with her family.
